Thank you for your interest in volunteering with our Gulf Coast Affiliates and Rebuild1000.  With your help we can continue to work towards our goal of rebuilding 1000 homes!

Rebuilding Together New Orleans celebrated its 20th anniversary as an affiliate in 2008.  As a program of the Preservation Resource Center, the New Orleans affiliate has completed over 1000 projects in 15 various neighborhoods.  After Hurricane Katrina wreaked havoc throughout the city, the affiliate expanded its capacity to aid those homeowners displaced by the storm.  Their rehabilitation projects generallly focus on the urban poor.

National Work Weeks Occur within the boundaries of Orleans Parish in Southeastern Louisiana.  Rebuiding Together works in the neighborhoods of Broadmoor, Esplanade Ridge and Treme, Faubourg and St. Roche, Gentilly, Hollygrove, Holy Cross, and Mid-City.  The city of New Orleans offers a unique mixture of culture, history, and entertainment.  In addition to an extensive nightlife, New Orleans is home to a variety of museums, shopping centers, historic landmarks, and restaurants.

Please contact Dawn Lee at (202) 518-3130 or DLee@rebuildingtogether.org for more volunteer information and with any questions you may have in regards to your registration process.

Thanks again from the Rebuild1000 Team and Rebuilding Together New Orleans!
